New business cards
Friday, 27 June 2008
For the last few months, I've been feeling mildly panicked whenever I open my business card holder because I can count how many are left, which means that if I found myself in a setting that suddenly turned networking-ish, I would possibly run out of them in less time than it takes me spell my name in full.
Fortunately (or not), that scenario didn't happen, although I did dream one night that I handed over my very last card with great regret.
So I decided to stop procrastinating and get around to making new business cards. I was also tired of the old card design, so I commissioned my friend Daniel (aka UNIT) to redesign them.
VoilĂ !

Surprisingly, even though I asked around among quite a few freelancer friends, only Deanna had a wholehearted recommendation: TommyPrint at Funan Centre. For $24 and the waiting time of a few business days, they do offset printing for two boxes of regular-sized business cards (though they'll warn you it could take up to a week).
I'm perfectly happy with TommyPrint's work, but I wonder what other recommendable printing companies there are out there, who won't baulk at (or charge extra for) a comparatively small print run per piece of artwork.
